  • The ASC Education Foundation and the The Macromolecules and Interfaces Institute (MII) at Virginia Tech (Formerly CASS) have come together to create a series of exciting new online training modules! These modules form an introductory-level course designed to train employees new to adhesive and sealant science. This online education program enables students to view the lecture materials (available with audio and streaming video) at their office or home computers, at their own pace when their schedules permit.
     
    This program consists of eleven individual courses. Students may register for the courses independently or take the entire program at once.

About the Courses:
  • Lectures are self-paced and delivered over the Internet via video/audio streaming and powerpoint slides. To view the lectures, students need to have reliable access to the Internet, a recent version of a web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) and a recent version of RealPlayer or RealOne (all can be downloaded for free at www.real.com, www.netscape.com, and www.microsoft.com).
     
  • Courses vary in length from 2 to 6.5 hours. The entire program is 30 hours in length. Register at any time. The license periods are 3 months (individual courses) and 6 months (entire program).
